Poetry Drawer: Claustrophobia by Karen Wolf

Like someone
yelling Fire in a crowded
theatre,
light thrusting out from all
manner of electronics reflects
off undraped windows,
flashes across screens like
a vice grip squeezing air
and imagination from my
cells, leaving me clawing
the walls to reach the sanity of the
sky.
